Eric Spieler, DMD
DMD: University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, Philadelphia, PA.
President: Alumni Executive Board, University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine
Eric Spieler, DMD is a general dentist serving clients in the town of Bala Cynwyd and serves patients in the surrounding towns of Wynnewood, Gladwyne, Ardmore and Narberth.
Because of his unique skill and attention to detail Dr. Spieler was selected among his peers and was invited to be a Clinical Associate (Instructor) in the Division of Restorative Dentistry at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He is now the instructor who teaches the top 10% of 4th year dental students (i.e. ‘dentists-in-training’) how to perform restorative procedures such as Cerec (same day crowns). Who better to have as a dentist than the dentist who is teaching other dentists!
Dr. Spieler has many years of experience and is kind, confident, gentle and knowledgeable. Prior to starting any dental work on his patients, Dr. Spieler explains what he will be doing and prepares you for what to expect so there will be no surprises.
Dr. Spieler was nominated as ‘Top Cosmetic and Reconstructive Dentist’ for Bala Cynwyd in 2019.
Here’s Dr. Spieler’s story of his journey to become a dentist, in his own words:
“My own dentist inspired me to go into this field. I liked who he was and the neat things he did. It was a natural fit for me. After over two decades of practicing dentistry, I still love to come to work every day. And I love my patients unconditionally. Every day is an opportunity to take care of people who need help with their smile. The best part of my job is making people feel comfortable, easing their anxieties and answering their questions about dentistry. We gladly educate, explain and have the expertise to make dentistry pain-free. Creating beautiful smiles every day takes a combination of art and science.
My interest in art and dentistry means my patients always get the best of both worlds. Our office is a very warm and friendly place – for those of us who work here and for our patients. Our staff enjoys each other and our patients. We’re all dedicated to providing the best care and being of service to you.”
In his spare time, Dr. Spieler enjoys cycling, scuba diving, landscaping, oil painting, acrylics, mosaics, photography and music.
